A Little Bit About Me!
My Story
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a rich background serving diverse populations, including children, adults, and the elderly. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Keuka College and a Master's degree in Social Work from Syracuse University. In 2021, I relocated from Syracuse, NY, to Wilmington, NC, bringing my expertise and passion for helping others to my new coastal community. I am a dedicated parent of four grown children, three grandchildren, two pups and a crazy cat. I enjoy exploring the area beaches, finding new restaurants, festivals, crafting projects, and keeping my mind young by completing puzzles.

I started my clinical career in New York, working in several settings including: community mental health clinics, local correction facilities, county mental health clinics, and my own private practice. Since moving to North Carolina, I have been lucky enough to have worked in the New Hanover County School District and with a local college. My clinical experience includes working with sexually abused children, children in the foster care system, individuals with substance use disorders, traumatic brain injuries, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD,and those with relationship concerns, to name a few. Before becoming a social worker, I was a registered clinical medical assistant, spending many years working in private and state operated pediatric and OB/GYN doctors offices and clinics.
